Carnival

The carnival is located in the paved lot at the intersection of Kansas Street and White Street. It is planned largely by The Frankfort Fire Protection District Foundation which is a non-for-profit organization comprised of the past and present members of the Fire Department. The foundation receives the majority of its funds through proceeds from the Fall Fest Carnival and through private donations. The organization has an ongoing duty to support the fire district, the Frankfort Fire Cadet Program, the Frankfort Fire Historical Society, and the community protected by the fire district. This support includes but is not limited to the purchasing of equipment, the enhancement of our members training, donations to benevolent causes, scholarship support to Lincolnway School Districts, and the sponsoring of activities that fall outside of the fire districts charter.
