August 2017

What's Happening At The Chamber

August finds the Chamber in full Fall Festival mode as we gear up for Frankfort’s biggest event of the year over Labor Day Weekend, September 2 through 4.
The 300-plus artisans from across the country are lined up with some great new additions and many shopper favorites returning.

New this year will be the Gourmet Food Market where more than 20 vendors will sell a variety of packaged, take-home foods—hand-harvested honey, crowd-pleasing dips, homemade jams, salsa and much, much more!

Also new this year, the Chamber will be providing an upscale Beer and Wine Garden in place of the Beer Tent of previous years. The area will be open to the Food Court during the day and will feature live, soft, background music. From 5:30-9:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday, it will become an adult-only area for ages 21 and older. An entry fee will be charged and entertainment will feature live, unplugged music.

The Fall Festival Parade at 1p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3 is always a fun time with more than 80 entries including bands, businesses and organizations.
It’s not too late to get in on the fun, register on the Chamber website or call the office.

We hope to see you soon!

Parlay Mortgage & Property strives to make a complicated process a little better

Parlay Mortgage is a local, customer service oriented, mortgage banking firm.

Located in Lockport, our knowledgeable and experienced team of loan officers originate mortgage loans for purchases and refinances in Illinois and Indiana. Parlay offers a variety of loan products that include, but are not limited to, Conventional, FHA, VA, Rehab, Reverse, and USDA.

Jason Zimmer, President of Parlay Mortgage, has been a loan officer since 2005 and has owned and operated Parlay Mortgage & Property since the doors opened in 2007. Jason is a consistent top producer among his peers all while running and managing his business. He graduated from Illinois State University and recently became a graduate of the esteemed Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Jason also presents various mortgage-related topics to several industry trade groups, attorneys, community events and has contributed to the Huffington Post, among other publications.

Our friendly staff is dedicated to giving our clients the best customer service while we guide them through the complicated process of applying for a home loan. In an industry where the end product does not change, Parlay Mortgage needs to define itself on more than the loan we provide. We need to focus on the process in which we deliver the loan. Taking that approach, our vision is... “We make a complicated process a little better.”

Please feel free to call or email with any of your mortgage questions. Jason Zimmer, 815-838-6613
