Law firm provides a holistic approach to the practice of family law

Gwendolyn J. Sterk has been practicing family law since 1989 and successfully started her own law firm, Gwendolyn J. Sterk and the Family Law Group P.C., in 2015.

Gwendolyn and her group believe in a holistic approach to the practice of family law and strive to not only service a client’s legal needs, but also help manage a client’s emotional and over-all well-being. At Gwendolyn J. Sterk and the Family Law Group, we believe that each client is an integral part of our team. Together we strive toward preserving his or her best interests.

A successful attorney-client relationship starts with good communication. Communication is the key to keeping our clients aware of each stage of their case and the related court process. We work diligently to provide our clients with efficient service and feel a strong ethical responsibility to inform and involve clients with every aspect of their litigation. We strive to provide clients with the tools they need to be empowered through their life changes, and be encouraged to move on with integrity and dignity.

Gwendolyn and the family law team have worked hard to establish connections with a vast network of counselors, support groups, and various other non-traditional service providers, who the team regularly partner with to assist clients on a case by case basis.
Here at Gwendolyn J. Sterk and the Family Law Group P.C. practices in Divorce, Parenting Matters, Child Support, Guardianship, Paternity, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Post-Decree Divorce, Orders of Protection, Civil Union Law, and Adoption.
